Ardmore House Bed and Breakfast is a charming Victorian Country House located in the heart of Ireland in the village of Kinnitty near Birr Co Offaly. This impressive stone house was built in the 1840's by the Bernard family who built the nearby Kinnitty Castle now a famous Irish Castle Wedding venue. The house is set in a beautiful 2-acre garden with views onto the Slieve Bloom Mountains.

Ardmore Country House is a delightful period guesthouse combining modern facilities with period features. With it's turf fire, antique furnishings, good home cooking {delicious home made Irish Soda bread, scones and jams} and friendly, relaxed atmosphere, this charming Country house is a place one wants to linger in.

Ardmore House is non-smoking with 5 guest bedrooms, 4 of them are en-suite and 1 with it's own bathroom. One bedroom is on the ground floor and is wheelchair accessable.

Located in the picturesque villageof Kinnitty, there are two pubs, a bistro restaurant, 2 churches and a few shops within 200 yards. Kinnitty Castle Hotel is approx. one mile away, with it's restaurant, bars and health & treatment centre. Traditional Irish music sessions are held on Friday and Saturday nights in the Dungeon Bar in Kinnitty Castle and every Wedneday night in one of the local pubs
