Guided Walks Friday, Saturday , Sunday and Monday. Registration Friday evening 5.45pm at Community Centre Kinnitty Co Offaly and on Saturday morning at 11am Registration €20

A weekend of great walks and mighty fun. In the evenings enjoy good food and traditional music sessions at local pubs.

Blisters Ball at Kinnitty Castle Sunday 2nd May Tickets €25 includes dinner and bus from village to castle.

Walking Festival Weekend €120 pps includes:

  • 3 nights Bed and Breakfast at Ardmore Country House
  • 3 packed lunches
  • Tea/ Coffee and home baking each evening in front of open log fire.

The Slieve Bloom Walking Club organises a Programme of Summer Guided Walks on most Sundays from May to mid November with Winter Walks as weather permits. The  walking season kicks off with the Annual Slieve Bloom Walking Festival on the May Bank Holiday Weekend each year. Local guides will enable you to get the most enjoyment and  benefit from their  knowledge of the terrain and  the flora and fauna encountered along the way. Walking Weekend or Midweek Breaks Guided or Self Guided Walks can be arranged to suit the needs of any walker.
