Slievebloom Walks is a centre based walking holiday which allows you to stay in the great location of Ardmore Country House at the foot of the Slieve Bloom Mountains in the heart of the Irish country for the duration of your trip and enjoy local hikes.

From the comfort of Ardmore Country House you can enjoy a selection of classic Irish walks that take in the most striking scenery on the Island. Each of the villages of the Slieve Blooms have signed and mapped looped walking trails surrounded by terrific hiking and beautiful scenery.

There are day treks from village to village{ we will drop you off and pick you up} or you can walk the long distance Slieve Bloom Way over 4 days,

Our self guided walking holidays are based along the famous Slieve Bloom Way and the many looped walks in the Slieve Blooms These walking tours give you the freedom to set your own pace. If you prefer we can arrange a walking guide. The terrain of the Slieve Blooms is ideal for the lifestyle walker and very suitable to anyone with a reasonable level of fitness.

The Slieve Bloom Walking Club organises a Programme of Summer Guided Walks on most Sundays from May to mid November with Winter Walks as weather permits. The  walking season kicks off with the Annual Slieve Bloom Walking Festival on the May Bank Holiday Weekend each year. Local guides will enable you to get the most enjoyment and  benefit from their  knowledge of the terrain and  the flora and fauna encountered along the way. Walking Weekend or Midweek Breaks Guided or Self Guided Walks can be arranged to suit the needs of any walker.
